The brown ducks are back

We have 3 brown ducks that visit us daily to be  fed. We have named them Christmas Easter and Thanksgiving  Only joking guys  The neighbors pond is where they normally reside When guests come they will sometimes escort them to their accommodation hoping for some food as a reward{,Customer service is part of their profile}
 We did have a pond on the property wen we bought it but but needed to re locate it which we have yet to get round to They go and sit where the pond used to be a gentle reminder to us to get on with it
Come summer they go off to have their babies which we never see and then come the Autumn they are back

Autumn on its way

Summer is almost gone The days get shorter and the evenings cooler This is a lovely time of year in the Dandenong Ranges  Nice warm days and cool evenings The gardens still have lots of colour and are so nice to take a walk in and enjoy the variety of colours  People still taking short holidays  and weekend breaks so the Bed and Breakfast business is still  relatively busy which is nice As autumn draws in we are thinking of stocking up on the firewood to keep the open fires going so cozy in the evening to sit in front of with a glass of red
